ATTACK ON AMERICA

A day we'll long remember,
In 2001, the eleventh of September.
We all stayed glued to our television set,
On this sad day, a day we'll never forget.
So tragic, what happened in New York and Washington, D.C.
A day we all ended on bended knee.
From the harbor, "Our Lady of Liberty"
Had to witness this awful tragedy.
Many innocent lives were lost that terrible day,
Now, the guilty will most assuredly pay!
The terrorists, who are to blame,
Should hang their heads in deep shame.
They have awakened a sleeping giant,
And they better watch out,
Because, we will put them in their place, no doubt!
Americans will all pull together,
This is one storm, we will all weather.
With the help of God, the Father and His Son,
You can count this as one war already won!
