I walk beneath a canopy of stars, where a thousand watchful eyes pierce the ebony silk sky.
I am a child again... wishing on the first star, soaring upward on dream-wings, feeling immortal.
I am a young woman ... unmindful of danger, anticipating life's mysteries, stardust sprinkled on my heart.
I am a mother... The sky diamonds wink, like my mischievous children. My heart smiles back, sharing cosmic secrets.
| I am a grandmother... Beloved grandchildren are Superstars that outshine Polaris. My aging heart dances with joy.
I am an old woman...
clouds hide the Milky Way from my fading eyes. But Bethlehem's star still guides my soul.
Carry me into the starlight one last time... Tonight my journey will be complete; for I shall see the face of God and touch His crown of stars.
