AN APRIL SPRING DAY IN MICHIGAN: 2005
An April spring day in 2005Begins at our fourteen-acre church land.
The frogs are chirping at the pond
In front of the church,
With geese and ducks arriving daily.
There have been two weeks of sunny weather.
With several days quite warm and dry;
The frogs seem happy not having been frozen yet and
The ducks are busy working over the pond.
The geese come and go at the pond, and we don 't know yet
If they are nesting yet, or whether their nest is near;
We may learn later if they bring their ducklings or goslings
Over to the pond to help them grow.
