GIFTS OF THE GREAT SPIRIT, VOLUME II--PRODUCTION IS UNDER WAY

Barbara Callahan Quin (LittleCrow WalkingEagle) reports that winners in the 2011 White Buffalo Native American Poet Laureate Poetry Contest and the “Name the Chief” Challenge’s prose and poetry contributions are being brought together into Volume II of Gifts of the Great Spirit.

Production of the book has started, but is running late due to number and quality of entries. We expect another beautiful book containing original works never published before to be produced.

Barbara says Great Spirit Publishing plans to have the book available in time for the holidays.

2012 WHITE BUFFALO NATIVE AMERICAN CONTEST UPDATE

Consideration is under way for next year’s contest. Contest details will be announced in December.
