Poetry is the signature of your soul.
Preserve it and it will live on after you have gone.
Each poet has only one true signature poem within him or her,
regardless of how many other works of poetry have been created during a lifetime.
This is a registry of such poetry.

Amy Kitchener: Calling all poets
When our website was new and we were ten years younger, we worked around the clock to carry out Amy’s unique ideas about how to perpetuate, present and preserve poetry. Her original Register of Signature Poems has become neglected lately and she urges us to reactivate it in hopes the idea of such a registry spreads around the world as a means for keeping alive the spirit of individual poets after they are physically gone from this earth. If you aren’t familiar with the Signature Poem concept, click here for a delightful surprise:
You may display your own Signature Poem for the lifetime of this website for just one $10 service fee. Submit one poem and tell us where you were born, what your chief profession is or was, and where you now live. Include street address, e-mail address and phone for our records, but not for publication. If you send your bio and poem by e-mail, use “SIG POEM” in the subject line. Or, send by snail mail with your $10 check payable to Wanda Sue Parrott Literary Fund. Mail to “Registry,” P. O. Box 1821, Monterey, CA 93942. Spell your name and/or pen name exactly as you want it to appear. As soon as we receive your check, your posting will be activated.
May the muse be with you.
